Siran
Varadian is the sole designer and jeweler at Varadian Beaded
Couture. Her passion for "jeweling" began over a
decade ago, inspired by the intricasies of beadwork and thriving
on the endless possibilities it presents.
Each
piece is as unique as it is breathtaking, with gorgeous gemstones
and custom beadwork that will leave you in awe. Every cut
stone, cabochon and gemstone bead is chosen by hand, often
with a vision of inspiration just waiting to bloom.
An
array of ancient beadweaving techniques is skillfully expressed
in each piece, from the African Ndebele herringbone stitch
to the Native American Peyote stitch. Siran has developed
many new techniques of her own as well. The work is very detailed
and meditative, commanding great patience and perseverance.
Beading is Zen.
Often
asked, "how did you do this?" Siran is likely to
reply, "bead by bead" with a smile.
The
tiny beads from which the works are comprised measure only
about 1mm, fabricated of precious metals or Japanese glass.
The gemstones come from all over the world, and VBC stocks
many rocks from Rubies and Turquoise to Peridot and Druzy,
and many more.
Creating
custom jewelry is a specialty at Varadian Beaded Couture.
To imagine a design and see it to completion is a truly magical
experience. Dare yourself to come up with the ultimate piece
and envision yourself in custom made wearable art. Enjoy!
